If you want to learn how to surf, Chacahua is the right place.

n Chacahua the beaches are of fine sand and gentle waves; which allows those who visit it to learn to surf or spend a quiet afternoon surfing.

To orient yourself in Chacahua, there are 2 towns, facing each other, separated by the lagoon:

• Chacahua Island (to the south): it is where the greatest tourist offer is concentrated, next to the breakwater, some surfable waves are formed.
• Chacahua Faro (to the north): there is not much tourist offer or accommodation, it is mainly to visit its beaches and the shore of the lagoon without expecting to find anything around it.

It must be remembered that summer is when the waves are best, in the months of November and December the waves are low and calm.
